HOURS OF OPERATION?

Our playspace is currently open Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm and Saturday + Sunday: 9am-1pm.

Our Coworking space is open Monday-Wednesday: 9am-11am and 2pm-6pm, and Saturday: 9am-1pm 

WHAT AGES ARE THE PLAYSPACE FOR?

Our playspace is a fun and safe environment for children ages 0-6. 

DO YOU REQUIRE BOOKING AHEAD OF TIME?

You are always welcome to drop-in to our space. However, because we operate at a 50% capacity currently, it is preferred to schedule ahead of time either here under “drop-in,” or by emailing us to confirm at time at info@brooklearnbrooklyn.com.

ARE MEMBERSHIP HOURS PER WEEK OR FOR THE MONTH?

Our memberships offer a varying amount of hours to be used however you like, within a month’s time. This is a monthly recurring payment (billing date begins on the first day purchased). Unused hours do not roll over into the following billing month. See more here.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME MY CHILD & I CAN SPEND AT BROOKLEARN?

While you and your little one are welcome to stay as long as you want, the minimum time/cost is 30 minutes.

CAN I BRING MORE THAN ONE CHILD AT A TIME?

Yes, you can! With a coworking + playspace membership, the additional child will cost an extra $35 per MONTH. For the drop-in rate, the extra child will be an additional $25 per hour.

With a playspace-only membership, the additional child will cost an extra $35 per MONTH. For the drop-in rate, the extra child will be an additional $15 per hour.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO SIGN-UP FOR CHILD CARE?

All you need to bring is your proof of vaccination and photo ID, along with your preferred form of payment. 

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? 

We accept cards, venmo, and paypal.

REFUND POLICY?

If you are unable to make your scheduled session, we will happily reschedule you to a time that is more convenient for you. Please let us know as soon as possible.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING SICK CHILDREN?

In order to keep our children, their families and our staff as healthy as possible, we require that any child with a fever, cough, or contagious disease be kept at home.

WILL MY CHILD BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES? 

Yes, there will be a staff member in the playspace at all times to supervise your child. Should your child need to use the bathroom during their visit, a staff member will accompany them.

HOW MANY STAFF MEMBERS ARE CPR AND FIRST AID CERTIFIED?

The majority of our childcare specialists are First Aid & CPR certified, and we require at least one First Aid & CPR certified staff member to be present in the gym at all times. We have a first aid kit and ice packs in the gym at all times, as well as in the coworking space.

DO YOU PROVIDE MEALS & SNACKS? ARE PEANUT PRODUCTS ALLOWED?

We do not provide meals or snacks, but families are welcome to bring food from home and eat in either of our two lounge areas. Peanut products are not allowed in the facility.

IS THERE A SPECIAL PLACE FOR MY CHILD’S BELONGINGS?

Yes, there are cubbies in the playspace where we can store your child’s shoes, socks, water bottle, etc. Backpacks, larger items, and strollers can be stored/parked in our front lobby.

DO YOU SUPPLY DIAPERS AND/OR BABY PRODUCTS?

While we do have changing tables and pads, we ask that parents supply their own diapers and products. In case of emergency, we do have diapers, rash cream, etc.
